That's true, are you going to employ further exclamation point austerity measures?

Re: Diving into Kanna
I have just placed an order with So for a couple of 210mm ryoba blades and an Azebiki suitable for joinery. I've always found him great to deal with, very thorough, but I think he is a victim of his own success and has more orders than he can deal with. He's always been prompt replying to my orders but I first ordered from him years ago (and I'm local) and I suspect he prioritises existing customers. That plus my orders are typically simple.
I am also anxiously awaiting further details of this mysterious chisel order.

Re: Diving into Kanna
Glad to see this thread has had some activity while I've been away. I find that I'm enormously grateful to my past-self for starting it, as it neatly lets me pick up where I left off. I'll be visiting Japan for ~three weeks in December, so I might try to pick up a few things on that trip if that turns out to make sense.

Re: Diving into Kanna
The time difference definitely slows down communication for me, most of the time people are replying back to me at about 2am~.
So's website is generally super fast, his father runs the shopping cart and ships out inventory pretty quickly. My past few orders through the cart have been quicker than anyone else.
