Morning! With the butler's desk now winding down (a few things left to complete), I've had a moment to begin preparing a new tool for the shop. I'd like to start building Shoji and so I have acquired a new kanna with designs on turning it into a Hikouki kanna.

I look forward to your comments.

Cheers

That Kanna looks perfect now!

For my kumiko work, I have been using jigs to dimension the stock, but I have been considering some sort of attachment cradle for a kanna which may merit more accurate results.

Tomohito-san did point me towards a hikouki-kanna, but they are prohibitively expensive for my requirements right now.

I look forward to your modifications.

Thank you! I should have something worthwhile to post in a few weeks. I decided to leave that dai alone and so I cut another to use as the hikouki Kanna. I couldn't bring myself to operate on that newly setup dai, lol.
