I know this is an old thread but why did you decide to part with the woodmizer? I've had my eyes on a Lucas swingblade with slabber for a number of years and thought they made a lot of sense for someone in the TF/woodworking world (assuming the other machinery needs were met). There appear to be many ways to network with neighbors, tree disposal companies, etc. Was it just not for you? Didn't use it as much as you expected? Too much competition? Did you ever want to use it hourly or just as a means of building your personal lumber stash?
