Just wanted to give some well deserved credit to Teshiba here. I bought two sets of saws from him, and I don't know if this is typical, but they arrived packaged in wooden boxes that were made for shipping.
My previous experience with saw purchases had been tedious, so it is nice to see that he puts some real effort in to make certain that they arrive intact.
I mention it because I had the exact opposite experience with Japanese tool seller in America, of which I ended up using the less bent one and straightening it myself.
So nice to see some very thoughtful treatment, especially for modestly priced saws.

Thanks for introducing me to him, Chris!
Btw, the saw that he acquired for me is Besso Jiro crosscut dozuki for hardwoods, it has an interesting tooth pattern and zooms through wood.
I like mitsukawa as well, very much so, but nice to try some others.
