Running through another version of this frame and posting up on my blog. Rather than create a new thread for this I decided just to tag it along with this one.

Daruma has revealed his country of origin, if I am not mistaken.

I'm a glutton for punishment, but not that much punishment, haha. I have the maple cut to size by the yard that supplies it.

I'll make a project out of oak and resaw it. :D

Good morning! I've completed the framing of Utegawa Kunisada's Modern Mirror Reflections print. I hope that you will check it out and hope to receive your comments and questions.

Thank you! I didn't comment much on it but switching to shellac has been really enjoyable and partially responsible for highlighting the contrast between end grain and long grain.

Looks great Brian. It's a nice print, I really like the patterning around the figure and on his kimono.

Thanks Jon! I love this one as well, it's very richly detailed, even the large colored areas on the kimono are patterned, thought it's probably impossible to see in my photo of it.

Great work as usual Brian. I've been catching up on old threads (took a bit of a reprieve) and I see you've been busy. I really like the blog as well.
