I need to convert all of you into whisky drinkers.

You may need beer and whiskey. My hugs are inappropriately long and my hands tend to wander.

What type of whiskey? I've been a 5 year fan of Basil Hayden's, it's a pleasant whiskey.

I've tried 4 roses single barrel and wasn't overly impressed, I don't think I have a sophisticated whiskey palate, I just like smooth whiskey on the rocks.

Basil Haydens is nice, it's easily one of my favorite Bourbons.

Whisk(e)y for me is usually Whisky, so Scotch and Japanese Whisky. I give preference to Islays and Island scotches, but I also enjoy a few Speysides.

Specifically Bunnahabhain, Lagavulin, Talisker, Longmorn, Oban, Aberlour, Highland Park, Yamazaki and Hibiki.
