I sympathize with you. I have let my toolbox project lay for a few weeks because I became frustrated making the trays. I am just getting back to it now.

I wonder if I am the only one still working on this?!

I finished the fox wedged tenons to secure the end caps. I need to do a bit of planing on it to clean up some saw marks and tear out, then it is lid time!

I have discovered that I don't really like the black limba, it is very soft, the end grain is extremely difficult to work.

That box is looking very nice. It doesn't matter at all whether you are the only person working on the project or not - only that you are working on it. Better to try and fail than to not try at all. I still have an interior box to make for my toolbox.

Again, great job!

Charles,

Looking forward to some pictures! Glad I am not the only last one.

Right now I am working on the mortices in the lid for the dovetailed tenons. I'm still at it!

Hello Chris,
I am working on the toolbox and am nearing the assembly stage for the base of the box. Available time seems to evaporate, but I am enjoying the project. I'll try to send a few pictures or send via email later.
Regards, Dean.
