Hello
Like the idea of shirts. 2xl for me.Like number 2 for the back and the bell tower sounds cool for the front. I'm new here and love all the things going on! Hopefully to join study group soon! J.T.

First post woo!

Thread's been quiet for a month but if you kids are still interested, being an illustrator & letterer I'd love to render an eventual decided direction into a Thing. Some examples of my work at greatistheworld.com and greatistheworld.tumblr.com.

My suggestion would be some wordplay involved, given the punny predilections of our host.

Appreciate all the interest, offers of help, etc., and haven't forgotten about this - just a little busy right now.

Will get this moving, just not sure when.

Size large. POC. Love the bell tower (and maybe the sawhead).

okay, i'd like to get back to this topic and have some other ideas for a CW t-shirt design. It would appear that the 'Big snit' line of options sank like a lead balloon, so okay, let's look at some other choices then. Will post up soon enough.

you mean to say sawing for teens was a bust, unfathomable. perhaps a more joinery oriented image would spark more interest. perhaps an exploded or xray image or the Ming table framework. everytime I look at it I find more details that went unnoticed somehow in my many re visits to the project blog. possibly the most well built piece of furniture ever made. if not for the t shirt then I'd still love an image as my browser background, well worthy of replacing the bridge city limited edition plane that currently occupies that venue.

Oh I realize that not everyone shares my sense of humor -very few I'm sure, though I did run into someone the other say who has seen the 'Big Snit' and also loves it, so I know i'm not alone.

I hadn't thought of a drawing of the Ming table - boy, looking back through the hundreds of photos sure brings back the memories:

That project was the first one I tackled in my current shop space, with very little equipment and a jointer of questionable accuracy. It was a complicated piece to make, for sure.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the piece, funny enough:

Just not sure if there are any pictures or drawings especially suitable for a t-shirt, save for this one perhaps:

definitely my favorite view of the table is well I've been doing a lot of SketchUp modeling lately and the exploded / x-ray views offer quite an interesting perspective of the complexities involved in such a build certainly enough to get gears turning as to how something is made.there is plenty of other things that are probably better suited for a t-shirt anyway. and you can add me to the list of those who enjoyedthe big snit
