Hello !

I am currently in Kobe until the end of the month.

I was wondering if there is any woodworker around that would make me have a tour of their workshop :)

Thanks

Philippe.

I can recommend the Takenaka Carpentry Tool Museum.
It has been renewed and relocated too I suppose. Haven't seen the new one yet but I am sure it is worth a visit.

I was in Kobe for a day, last month. The Takenaka Carpentry Museum in very close to the Shin Kobe Shinkansen station. Well worth a visit. Expect to spend 1-3 hours there. I can also recommend the brunch buffet at the Hotel Piena Kobe. Very good selection and great coffee. I am almost through the charcoal fired coffee beans I brought back.

Thanks ! Takenaka museum is on my list for next week :)

I have been to kezurokai on last week.

I am also looking for places where I could get used tools or shops with good tools :)

Watching videos of those young guys doing timber joinery with axes... well, it warms my heart.
Thanks for posting these!
