Craftsmanship in Wood

I stumbled upon Boro Sawmill in Wayne, NJ who specializes in high quality softwoods and they carry some beautiful product.

After being laughed by most yards I was very happy to find these fellows and thought it best to share my experience.

Most who could supply me with AYC were only able to get knotty and with a three week lead time. Instead these guys are able to get me clear VG, which as you guys know makes all the difference.

I'll post some photos after I plane some to thickness.

In the South Bay Area, I have purchased VG clear AYC from Jackel Enterprise in Watsonville, CA. They carry 8/4 6" wide stock.

You guys are spoiled!

My wife keeps asking me to move to CA and everytime I read about wide clear VG stock the temptation starts to become greater.

Forgive my antipodean ignorance, but: AYC?
