Yesterday, I read Ilana's postscript on the carpentryway blog and saw that Chris passed a day before his birthday. The world is now missing an incredibly talented and driven person.

This forum, despite the inactivity, felt like it deserved a post to reference our loss.

Brian, I look forward to seeing the bench when it's finished. What an honor!
