I have a number of average grade kanna I'd like to move from my collection.
There is a 60mm blade with chipbreaker, a 48mm blade with chipbreaker and extra dai and a 70mm blade with dai and chipbreaker. The 48mm has an extra dai to go with it, since the original appears to have a small crack at the mouth. I'll send the original with it if the buyer wishes.
I probably overpaid for these when I purchased them on ebay (around 150 before purchasing the extra dai) so I just want to recoup some of my money. $100 plus shipping for all of them.
The dovetail saw was made by a gentleman on a different forum. I believe he made a number of saws before stopping. This was one of his earlier ones so it shows. I asked that he not seal the handle (which is made of walnut). It cuts well (only used on a few test cuts then stored away). $75 plus shipping

CHRIS;
Hello, are they good quality for the beginner in me? Are they still available?

I can't speak to the quality but from what I gather, they are nothing special. I'm sure you could tune them up to perform well but I won't blow smoke. I believe they are economy grade tools with an extra dai. The dovetail saw, while finish is nothing spectacular, is a nice saw that will cut straight without issue.

Chris;
Thanx! I am just trying to start off with something. I'm going to try and find funds for the planes.

Bump, I just want the kanna gone so if someone is willing to pay shipping, I'll send the three planes to get them out of my shop. I need to clean stuff up and these are just collecting dust in a box. Surely someone could put them to good use?
The dovetail saw is now $50.
