Hi,
Does anyone know of a sashigane in inches / base-10? Chris depicts one in Vol.1. Is it better to just go with centimeter sashigane?

Re: sashigane
It seems that they're always messing around a bit with that website. I looked again and here is the link - note the slight change to the URL:

Re: sashigane
Chris, is your sashigane still available? That link now redirects to Shapton's website, but it's just the US distributor's site, no online retail store to be found.
FWIW, I was able to walk down to Hardwick's here in Seattle and pick up a 25x50cm sashigane.

John,
you'll have to contact them (Japanese tools.com) directly by phone and ask them about it. They have plenty in stock.

Sayuri at HMS Enterprises responded that the current way (May 2014) to order the inch sashigane is through the Shinwa Rules site.

Re: sashigane
They are the only ones stocking the decimal inch scale sashigane that I designed. They have plenty of stock, as I think they initially brought in something like 500 squares.

Re: sashigane
As of August of 2014, they still have the squares. You have to email them, though, as they're no longer listed on the site.
