It's completely brand new, standard bedding angle. It is the Uradashi-fuyoh version. According to Stu over at toolsfromJapan "this kanna has an uradashi-fuyoh blade, a special blade back treatment that requires no maintenance. Just sharpen and use" I haven't had the pleasure of trying this new arrangement of kanna blade, but it does look very interesting.
